São Paulo, Brazil – Artist Izzy Gordon is set to release her powerful new album, "The Day After the End of the World," a collection of new songs and partnerships bathed in affection and acute social awareness. Recognizing the pivotal moment humanity is navigating, Gordon presents an album that acts as both a comfort and a call to action.

This musical manifesto unfolds through chapters of song, tracing stories of liberation, emancipation, and choice that turn simplicity into secure paths forward. The album features collaborations with a formidable roster of Brazilian literary and musical voices, including Elisa Lucinda, Sergio Vaz, and Neide Almeida.

Rooted in a deep agreement with Black music, the album's sound is a rich fusion of samba-jazz, blues, ragtime, bossa, and samba. It showcases standout tracks like "A Ilha," a poem by Elisa Lucinda set to music by Renato Gama, featuring the luxurious vocal help of her brother, Tony Gordon. Another pivotal moment, "Mãe Preta" by Ronaldo Gama, serves as a crucial warning, urging listeners to hear the drums and heed the voices of Black women.

An audacious work for a new era, "The Day After the End of the World" points out paths for the times after the pandemic. It is a concert of sound where hope springs eternal, embracing those who need to be embraced and generating empowerment for those who need to be strengthened.

The album boasts musical production by the acclaimed duo Renato and Ronaldo Gama, and features an exceptional band: Leo Carvalho on drums, Ronaldo Gama on bass, Leandro Neri on keyboards, and Marcio Guedes on guitars.

"The Day After the End of the World" is more than an album; it is an invitation to believe in a prosperous and welcoming future.

To listen to Izzy Gordon is to believe in tomorrow.
