We are a platform for sonic resistance and diasporic reclamation.

Every event since 1995 — from Berlin squats to the world. Before flyers, we were at Freitagsbar, Fishladen, Danny´s Tavern Chicago. DJ Garrincha's residency at EKA spanned over a decade. Dr. Sócrates moved through the same scenes, both working as bouncers. We document every event. The name "Tropical Diaspora" came at YAAM, but the spirit was always there. From Berlin to Rio, from Chicago to Kosovo, from Madrid to beyond. Welcome to our history.
