Produced and largely arranged by the visionary Brazilian percussionist, handpan player, composer and producer Luccas Martins, Sotaques expands the possibilities of both traditions while remaining deeply rooted in them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eAcross eight tracks, more than 55 musicians weave accordion, pífano (a traditional flute from Northeastern Brazil) and rabeca (a Brazilian folk fiddle) together with trumpets, saxophones, trombones and vibraphone, alongside tuba, seven-string guitar, berimbau and cuíca, creating a rich dialogue between tradition and modernity. The album also features remarkable guest appearances by Lia de Itamaracá (Latin Grammy winner), Ricardo Herz, Trio Macaíba, Eloá Puri, André Prando, Douglas Lopes and Mestre Lua de Olinda.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eThis special edition LP was pressed in Germany and features stunning artwork by illustrator Manel Fogo, under the artistic direction of Giulyanna Cipriano, inspired by the visual language of cordel, the traditional folk literature of Northeastern Brazil.
