It began with the march of the maroons. When ska slows down into its most extreme form, as it is dub, the music stretches its bass line to cover more land, as to create an invisible wall that threatens the ship in the horizon. The sound system is magical, its sound is allurement. It can only be heard by the slaves that populate the colonial ship. The sound system drives them to rebellion and the ship sinks while the brothers and sisters get into the shores of the new land. There, the process of reconstruction of a true radical universal democracy begins.
