1. Payment & Settlement:

Consignment stock is invoiced strictly on a "Sale or Return" basis.

Settlement for sold units is due within 14 days net following the end of each calendar month.

The goods remain the exclusive property of Tropical Diaspora Records until full payment for sold units is received. Unsold units must be returned to us in saleable condition at your expense.
2. Stock & Quantity Tolerances:

Delivery quantities are subject to industry-standard tolerances of +/- 10%. The exact quantity physically received by the store will be used for invoicing and consignment tracking.
3. Legal & Licensing Compliance:

A delivery permit from GEMA (German Performing Rights Society) must be obtained and presented to us prior to the physical delivery of this consignment. We do not accept liability for public performance or broadcasting fees incurred at the point of sale.
4. Political & Cultural Integrity (Our Partnership Ethos):

Tropical Diaspora Records is an independent, anti-colonial label. We consign our records exclusively to partners who respect the cultural origins of the music we distribute.

We reserve the right to terminate consignment agreements with any retailer found to be commercially exploiting, misrepresenting, or appropriating the cultural heritage of the artists we represent.

The use of our records for any promotional activity, marketing, or branding that distorts, diminishes, or fetishizes the diaspora origins of this music is strictly prohibited.
5. Production & Delivery Timeline:

Test Pressings: Approx. 3 weeks from receipt of master files.

Final Production: Approx. 9-10 weeks from approval of test pressings and receipt of final print data.

Note: Due to ongoing global raw material shortages and supply chain bottlenecks, this consignment offer is valid for 14 days from the date of this notice. Prices and delivery dates are subject to change if production is not confirmed within this window.
